The Waterman Lecture Series presents Captain Don Walsh, the first explorer to reach the deepest point in the ocean - Mariana Trench.  This oceanographer and explorer will be presenting, Exploring the Deepest Oceans – A Personal Odyssey. Captain Walsh stages a timeline of the earliest deep sea explorations in the 1930’s, continuing thirty years later to Walsh’s very own record breaking two-man sub into the Mariana Trench to modern day exploration with James Cameron,  concluding with what the future holds for deep sea exploration.  Listen to the first-hand experience from a true explorer, on his personal odyssey.   To learn more about our Waterman Lecture Series please visit our website at explorocean.org.

I agree! Sue Greenwood rocks! By far the best of Laguna Beach.
