Laguna Beach Interfaith Council 5th Annual Prayer Breakfast

The Laguna Beach Interfaith Council invites all residents and guests to its 5th Annual Prayer Breakfast in consonance with the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3, 2012 ~ 8:30 AM at Mission Hospital. This is a complimentary event with free-will donations accepted to benefit the Mission Hospital Foundation, which exemplifies community service throughout its healing ministries.

Within the context of this year's topic, Service is a Form of Prayer ~ Let it Begin with Me!, two Keynote Speakers will be featured.  Reverend Rosalind Russell of R Star Foundation (affectionately known at “The Goat Lady”), and Joyce Hansen of Rising Star Outreach, will focus on the “star” qualities of volunteerism and honor several volunteers. Each volunteer will have an opportunity to share how they have been deeply touched through their work.  This will be followed by the Presentation of Gratitude Award for Community Service with a focus on the Laguna Beach food pantry.

And certainly not to be missed, a special performance by the Latter Day Saint's Children’s Choir of “Let There be Peace on Earth”.
