“We are fortunate to have such a diverse panel of presenters at our upcoming Parent Awareness Presentation on February 13 in the LBHS Library. We have Lynn Posey, Community Development Specialist, who will share strategies and techniques as outlined in ‘The 40 Developmental Assets’, that parents can use when working with their adolescent. We will also hear from Ms. Nichole Rosa, LBHS Counselor, on how these assets can be used at both school and in life as our youth transition from middle school to high school and beyond. Finally, we will hear from two of our students as they share their perspective on the challenges, both known and unknown, that exist in Laguna Beach and how they overcame them. We invite all parents and students to attend this informative presentation. Attendance with your son/daughter will give you the opportunity to have meaningful dialogue about the presentation that evening and in the future.”

Ms. Posey adds, “Are your children surviving or thriving? Learn simple everyday ways to help all parents give their children a foundation they need to fulfill their potential, to learn and grow even through tough times, to succeed, to thrive.”
