Laguna Beach High Girls' Water Polo Update

The squad is 7-3 so far this season, with their next game coming Wednesday at Costa Mesa.

The always-strong, always-contending Laguna Beach High Breakers' girls' water polo team is getting into the heart of league play, having so far compiled a respectable 7-3 record in matches against tough teams like Edison, Mater Dei, Foothill and Dana Hills.

Mike Sciacca of the Coastline Pilot sums up their season so far in this piece, in which coach Ethan Damato waxes philosophical on what he thinks has brought his team to this point, and what the next challenges are.
