Laguna Beach High To Host Community College and Career Fair

The Thursday event will provide students with information on what to do with their lives after graduation.

Submitted by the Laguna Beach Unified School District:

As Laguna Beach High School students work toward graduation, a variety of career and postsecondary education choices become real life possibilities. The Community College and Career Technical Education Fair gives students and their parents the opportunity to explore many of these options with representatives from community colleges, technical education schools, companies and career organizations. This event provides a wealth of information for students and parents about admission requirements, timelines and costs as well as degrees, certifications and career training. Representatives from the Laguna Beach High School Scholarship Foundation (LBHSSF) will be on hand to distribute information about community college, trade and vocational institution scholarships.

The event is Thursday, February 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Laguna Beach High School Library and is coordinated by Capistrano-Laguna Beach ROP/Career Guidance Specialist Taryn Guillen.
