The Shap Show is Back for a 24th Year at Laguna Beach High

The variety show is a fundraiser for the school's grad night.

News release on Laguna Beach High's 24th annual Shap Show:

The senior class of 2012 is proud to present the 24th Annual Shap Show, “NO SUITS ALLOWED.” This special event is for one night only, at the on Saturday, February 11, at 7:30 p.m.

The Shap Show features many incredibly talented LBHS students and assorted staff accompanied by none other than LBHS's esteemed math teacher, Mr. Gary Shapiro, and his acoustic guitar. You won’t want to miss this show. It is a sell-out every year! A pre-dinner will also be held at in Laguna Beach. All proceeds from the concert and pre-show dinner will benefit the LBHS Class of 2012 Safe and Sober Grad Night.

Regular tickets for the concert go on sale at 4 p.m. the day of the event for $10 for students and $15 for adults. This event sells out quickly, and there is a 4 ticket maximum per person.

A limited number of advanced tickets can be purchased in the reserved section for $30, or with the Asada Pre-Show Dinner Package for $60. The pre-show dinner will held from 5-6:45 p.m. So guarantee you get a seat and purchase in advanced by mailing your reservation to Kerry Rubel at 21511 Anns Lane, Laguna Beach, CA 92651, or click here to get an order form. Advance ticket purchases will end on Monday, February 6.

Pizza, salad, baked goods and flowers will be available before the show and during intermission while supplies last. Bake sale opens at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Artists Theatre.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 11 at 5 p.m. for the pre-show dinner at Asada and 7:30 p.m. for the Shap Show. The senior class of 2012 greatly appreciates your support by attending the dinner as well as the concert.
