Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, our latest run of good-sized surf is on its way down, but there are still plenty of playful plus-size waves.
The conditions are fairly clean, with some spots seeing a little texture on the surface early on. We have the same mix of mainly easing south southwest swell and southwest energy and small northwest windswell in the water.
That recipe is offering this stretch of sand with some fast and semi-wally lines, with some good pick-and-choose shoulders. Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee- to chest-high, with the top south-facing breaks pulling shoulder-high waves, with some bigger sets.

At 9:40 this morning the tide pushes up to a 4.0 high and then drops to a 2.1 low at 2:17 this afternoon, then climbs back up again to a 6.7 high at 8:34 this evening.
If you're going to get in the water, throw on no more than a spring suit, with the water temperature averaging between a nice 66 and 68 degrees. Go get it!
