Laguna's FM Station to Broadcast LBHS Boys' Basketball Games

KX 93.5, the city's only FM radio station, will broadcast Laguna Beach High School boys’ basketball home games starting today, a station official reported.

The broadcast will include live commentary by LBHS senior Barrett Thornton and longtime Laguna Beach resident Dustin Mudd, according to Tyler Russell, 93.5's program director. This will be the second season KX 93.5 has broadcast LBHS sports.

“I’m very excited to be bringing KX 93.5 courtside,” Thornton said. “We have a very athletic and senior-led team this year; it has the potential to be one of the best in recent history.”

Russell said the broadcast will only be available online, so regular FM programming isn’t interrupted. Listeners can visit KX935.com on their computers or smartphones and click “sports stream” on the home page a few minutes before each game starts.
