Monday Wave Check

Fairly small and weak.

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it looks like a good day to make it into to work on time.  Yep, the latest round of energy is continuing to fade away, with only a pretty small amount of swell out there.

The conditions are mostly clean from the start with some spots seeing a light texture on the water.  As far as the surf goes...there's mostly south southwest swell and hardly any northwest windswell on tap.

That recipe is providing this neck of the woods with some crumbly sectiony lines, with a few workable ones on a log or maybe a fish.  Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee to thigh high plus, with the top south facing breaks pulling some waist high waves, with maybe a plus set if you're lucky.

Checking the tides...at 8:50 this morning it climbs up to a 3.7 high and then drops to a 1.8 low at 1:32 this afternoon and then pushes up once again to a 6.7 high at 7:58 this evening.

If you're going to get wet, you'll need no more than a 3/2 fullsuit for at least that a.m session, with the water temperature averaging between 61 and 63 degrees.  Good luck out there!
