Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, things are starting off kind of slow due to the early morning negative low tide, but we should see an increase in the action throughout the day!
The conditions are mostly clean early on, with mainly building south-southwest swell and not much northwest energy to speak of. That recipe is offering some drained out and kind of dumpy lines, with some pick and choose corners.
Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee- to waist-high, with the top south facing breaks pulling some belly-high waves, with even a few plus sets.

Taking a look at those tides...at 4:58 early this morning it drained out to a negative 1.4 low, which will have many spots in need of water early to mid-morning. The tide then climbs back up to a 4.2 high at 11:17 later this morning and then drops again to a 1.3 low at 4:26 this afternoon.
If you're planning on paddling, well that water temp has warmed up a bit, so the most you'll need is a 3/2 fullsuit, with it hanging between 59 and 62 degrees. See ya in the water!
