The annual Fete is a product of the Laguna Beach Sister Cities Association, a celebration of the town's bond with sister city Menton, France—expect an acknowledgement of this during the opening ceremony when it kicks off at 1 p.m. From there, you can wander around downtown Laguna Beach, where mostly local musicians and performers will be playing music for several hours, as far north as the , as far south as the , and everywhere in between from the to to assorted places along Forest and Ocean. Maps will be available at Main Beach, or you can click the Sister Cities site here.

A grand time is guaranteed—just don't forget the sunblock.
