BACK TO THE FUTURE FREE SUMMER MOVIE AT ALISO CREEK INN
 WHERE/WHEN:  at 31106 S. Coast Hwy. Friday, August 24. The bar and grill open at 7 p.m and the movie begins at 8 p.m. or dark, whichever comes first. 
WHY GO? C'mon, it's a 1985 classic! Come watch Marty, Doc, Biff and the McFlys travel through time and change their lives. You can order something tasty from the grill, have a little candy and popcorn, sit back on your chairs, and enjoy. Bring your own blankets and seats for the grass area. BARGAIN FESTIVAL, OR THE 100-FAMILY GARAGE SALE

Get-Ur-Deal-On and raise money for support of the church’s mission and ministry work in the local and global community, donating at least 10 percent of the proceeds directly to a local charity. A NIGHT WITH THE STARS UNDER THE STARS
WHERE/WHEN: grounds at 650 Laguna Canyon Rd. Saturday, Aug. 25. Festivities begin at 6 p.m.
WHY GO? Celebs aplenty! At 5 p.m., Barry Bostwick (COUGAR TOWN & SPIN CITY and let's not forget THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW), David Chokachi, (SOUL SURFER & BAY WATCH), Seamus Dever (CASTLE), Joely Fisher (‘TIL DEATH), Kate Flannery (THE OFFICE), Jennifer Hall (UP ALL NIGHT), Robert David Hall (CSI), Richard Karn (HOME IMPROVEMENT), Cloris Leachman, Jerry Mathers (LEAVE IT TO BEAVER), Donna Mills, Connie Stevens, Patrick Warburton (RULES OF ENGAGEMENT) and many others will walk the red carpet. At 6 p.m., Grammy Award-winning singer of "Sailing," "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" and "Ride Like the Wind" Christopher Cross will perform. Then, at 8:15 p.m., Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden will draw the winning ticket for a 2013 Acura and $5,000 cash.

WILLIAM MCMURRAY 5K WARRIORS FUNDRAISING WALK
WHERE/WHEN: , 1042 N. Coast Highway. Sunday, Aug. 26, 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
WHY GO? Help raise funds for the McMurray family. Eleven-year-old William McMurray will be going through cancer treatments and the is helping out with this fundraising walkathon. There will be water, snacks, music, food and Smart-Girls-Who-Surf Sunscreen along the way. or phone 949-715-6789.
PRICE: Participants can register by purchasing a shirt at The HAPPY Place anytime between now and the morning of the walk, or online at here at the DWBH site. All participants are required to wear their Don’t Worry Be Happy Shirts on the walk. Shirts start at $30 and go up depending on the styles selected. Sizes are available in mens and womens (including 2XL, 3XL, 4XL), kids and infant.

MUSIC IN THE PARK SERIES WITH KNYGHT RYDER
WHERE/WHEN: , where Cress Street and Bluebird Canyon Drive meet. Sunday, August 26, 5-7 p.m. (No set-ups before 3 p.m.!)
WHY GO? Ahhh ... remember Loverboy, Journey and Guns n' Roses? It seems like only yesterday when you were dancing with an overbite and shoulder pads. Bring out the big hair in you and dance along with Knyght Ryder as they play the hits of the '80s. You might want to keep it simple and plan on walking to the event.
