THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY AT FESTIVAL OF ARTS!
WHERE/WHEN: grounds, 650 Laguna Canyon Road. Friday, Aug. 3, 5:30-7:30 p.m. 
WHY GO? Mmmmmicrobrews and gourmet pretzels are available for your snacking pleasure while you listen to American folk music performed by Brendan Willing James and Justine Bennett. LAGUNA FOODIES AND CLOOCROO HOSTS 'NO KID HUNGRY' BENEFIT
WHERE/WHEN: Register today! Meet at , 600 Hillcrest Drive, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 4. Then off you'll go to 10 Laguna Beach bars.
WHY GO? Want to help end world hunger? Do you love heart-pounding competition, races and cocktails? Then this "Olympiad" bar-hop is for you. Teams must wear colors and represent a country. The wilder the costumes, the better. Start at Riddle Field. You'll be given the secret location of a bar in Laguna Beach. Shotgun start, read clues, then off you go to the next secret bar location. PRICE: Cost is $35 per person. Teams must be signed up and paid by August 2 (that's today). Percentage of the proceeds will go to Share Our Strength.

FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR WILLIAM MCMURRAY
WHERE/WHEN: , 600 Hillcrest Dr. Saturday, Aug. 4, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
WHY GO? Eleven-year-old William McMurray is very ill with a brain condition. His parents, Sabrina and Michael McMurray, owners of Laguna Beach's , do not have health insurance. The McMurrays need your help with Will's medical costs. Come out to this fundraising event at Riddle Field Saturday, with a dunk tank, raffle prizes (including Angels tickets), baked goods, beverages, face painting, and more. All donations welcome! COUNTRY WESTERN DAY AT THE SAWDUST FESTIVAL
