Watch: Fete de la Musique Turns Downtown Laguna Beach Into A Stage

The music fest with a French twist made its fifth annual takeover of downtown Saturday.

The Laguna Beach Sister Cities Association hosted its fifth annual Fete de la Musique fest Saturday, with close to 30 musicians and bands performing throughout downtown for several hours to honor Laguna's sisterly bond with Menton, France. That's why, in the clip you'll see here, some people are singing in French and performing French numbers.

But it was a stylistically diverse afternoon, and the summertime weekend crowd seemed to delight in turning a corner and running into, say, a guy kicking out a wicked ukulele jam. There were also classical violinists, acoustic folk bands, vocal groups, sax tooters, raw rockers, even belly dancers and mariachi combos.

UPDATED: We've got the second part of our video up now, with clips from musicians not featured in our first. Guitarist Keith Comer has some clips as well. Enjoy!
