A Home for Developmentally Disabled Young Adults in Laguna Beach

Glennwood House hopes to open by next summer.

Glennwood House, a proposed home for developmentally disabled young adults that's planning to open in a former retirement community at 2130 S. Coast Hwy.,  needs to raise $900,000 to renovate the building. They plan to start construction in February, and once completed, they plan on creating a safe, loving, caring (and affordable) environment for some 50 people with mild to high-functioning forms of Down syndrome, autism, and other conditions.
