Photos: Walk for William McMurray Brought Out Supporters

Money raised from the Don't Worry Be Happy Foundation fundraiser will go towards the Laguna Beach boy's cancer treatments.

If the fight against cancer were an Olympic event, the would have definitely taken home the gold this year.

Founders Jim and Mina Buc are on a mission to brighten up the lives of those afflicted with cancer, and help the warriors who are struggling financially.

Eleven-year-old William McMurray was diagnosed with inoperable brain stem glioma in July, and quickly became a DWBH warrior. With Jim and Mina on the front lines, the foundation went right to work, and on Sunday, Aug. 26, they held a 5K walk fundraiser in Laguna Beach to raise money.

It was a beautiful day, and people came from miles around to offer support for William and his parents, Michael and Sabrina McMurray. The walk began at storefront, went 2 1/2 miles south to (owned by the McMurrays), then back to the Happy Place, where cool refreshments and entertainment awaited.

Hollywood producer Jonathan George brought some up-and-coming stars to perform for the attendees. Young performers included Aaron Landon (Disney's Crash and Bernstein), Britt Flatmo (Super 8, Life As We Know It), Sir Castanon (Click, LA Music Awards Pop Artist of the Year), Hailey Dibiasi (HUB's Majors and Minors), Keonna Evans (American Idol), and Natalia Loya (The Voice).

Don't Worry Be Happy warriors who have been fighting their own battle against cancer came to show support for William, along with family members who came to honor the memory of a warrior they've lost.

When people come together for a cause like they did on Sunday and give it absolutely everything they've got in support of those in need, what we here in Laguna Beach end up with is a city overflowing with champions.
