Laguna Beach Art Fests to Hold Art Supply Donation Day Friday

Give some art supplies, get a free day of festival admissions.

Supplied story by the Festival of Arts:

Continuing its mission to educate the public and feature the arts in the community, the Passport to the Arts team of Laguna Beach, including Art-A-Fair, Festival of Arts, Sawdust Art Festival and the Laguna Beach Visitors & Conference Bureau, will hold its third annual Art Supplies Donation Day, this Friday, August 10. The Passport team has selected local schools and children’s art therapy programs as the beneficiaries of the art donations.

Visitors who donate a new, unopened art supply valued at $5 or more will receive free admission that day to all three Festivals. Upon turning in their donated art supply, visitors will receive an embossed wristband that will admit them free of charge that day to all three Festivals. Donations must be unopened and may include such items as watercolor sets, watercolor, drawing or sketch pads, markers, colored pencils, art supplies boxes, and the like. They may be dropped off at any of the Festivals’ box offices.
