Pageant of the Monsters, Halloween Ball, Composting Class

3. On Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 - 11 a.m., Waste Management will offer a free composting class to residents. The class will be held at the Community and Susi Q. Center. Compost Bins and Worm Bins will be available for purchase during the classes at a discounted price. 4. Starting Friday Pageant of the Masters Director Diane Challis Davy presents the Pageant of the Monsters, transforming the Pageant’s backstage into a Haunted House with an artistic twist. Running through on Oct. 25, 26, 27 & 31 the event will take place at the Festival of Arts, from 6 - 9:30 p.m. The Pageant of the Masters' creative team of artists and technicians has reunited to resurrect the acclaimed Halloween Haunted House as part of the Pageant of the Masters 80th Anniversary celebration. Davy said guests will be directed through the amphitheater, Pageant workshops and stage, which have been transformed into a series of eerie artistically presented vignettes. In addition to the haunted house, the Festival of Arts grounds will be filled with Fortune Tellers, Mask Making, Live Music, Pumpkin Printmaking and more. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under (not recommended for children under 5). Tickets are available online at PageantTickets.com or by phone at 800-487-3378. On October 31, children 12 and under may come in costume. The event will take place at Festival of Arts, 650 Laguna Canyon Road.
 
5. On Saturday, Oct. 26 the Laguna Art Group Foundation INC. is hosting a Halloween Benefit Ball from 5:30-11:30 p.m. The Halloween Ball will benefit arts therapy and art supplies in children's hospitals. The night will include music, dancing, full bar, wine tasting, food, live and silent auctions, a costume contest and more. The event will be held at the Woman's Club, 286 St Anns Dr., Laguna Beach.
