Many items have a rustic, Nantucket-esque feel as apparent in the beach art, old-school local surf memorabilia and furniture available for sale. Mermaid accessories, fine smelling candles, seashell silverware, plates and tablescapes all drive home ocean and nautical themes as well.</p> <p>Owner Laurie Alter offers interior design services with consulting in-store or in-home available. The shop gets its inventory from more than 1,000 different vendors, providing customers with the opportunity to enjoy many one-of-a-kind gifts. Tuvalu also sells jewelry, including special pieces that are handmade by the local company, Neckcandy.</p>
